A Venetian inspired series of complex colored patterns created in glass. Each "Murrine" is hand-crafted by layering and manipulating glass color. When a rod of "Murrine" is sliced into equal parts it reveals an original pattern in the core. The beauty of the Murrina is recognized through the "Coldworking" process which precisely removes thin layers of glass to bring the pattern to the surface.
